About the Game
Witch One is a 2D online hide-and-seek battle-royal game that takes inspiration from the asymmetric gameplay of Dead by Daylight, the deceptive gameplay of Among Us, combined with the gameplay flow of popular battle-royal games.
Objective
At the start of the game, one random player will be chosen as the Cursed One, who must kill a player without being caught. The Cursed One will be invisible to the players, but they cannot use any items, while other players can use items to trap or run away from the Cursed One. In this game, the Cursed One must kill a player within the countdown, while other players must survive. If the Cursed One kills someone, the game chooses a different player to be the next Cursed One while the killed player gets the game over. This loop will repeat until only one player is left in the game.
Environment
Use the environment to your advantage. The game map will have different surface types that may leave a permanent footprint, or emit a sound wave that other players can see. Will you hide from the Cursed One? Until you become one...
Story
The War has been going on for decades, and wiped one-tenth of this world's population. Now, the major players of the war has gathered to end this war, by summoning the almighty Great Soul Crystal, which can only be controlled by the Cursed One. Young and pure mages must fight to the end in the ritual known as the Witch One.
